Pearla didn’t start as a business idea.
It started as a moment of frustration and love.
A few years ago, we were standing in a bookstore, looking for a gift that could say something real. Not something loud. Not something expensive. Just something honest. Something that could hold feelings that were hard to say out loud.
But everything on the shelves felt the same.
Nice covers. Nice words. And no meaning.Then we realized something uncomfortable:
Most relationships don’t fail because people stop caring - they fail because people stop expressing it. Life gets busy. Words get swallowed. Emotions get postponed. And over time, the space between two people grows - not because love disappears, but because it’s left unspoken.
That night, instead of buying a gift, we went home and started writing. Not a book to read - a book to fill. A place for memories, thoughts, small confessions, and reminders of why two people chose each other in the first place.
That’s when Pearla was born.
